Security and privacy
Your data is yours alone
Every piece of data belongs to a single organization and is never visible to another: tasks, documents, chats, memory, storage. The only exception, by design, is Kibo's documentation (like this page), which the assistant can read for everyone.
Who sees what
A permission gives a person (or all members) a role on something: the organization, a project, a task, a document. The most specific permission applies; without a permission, nothing. The assistant, too, answers only with what the person asking can see.
Sign-in
You stay signed in securely, without having to sign in again every time. Sign out everywhere, changing your password and deleting your account close every other session. Repeated attempts with the wrong password lock the account for an increasing amount of time.
Sign in with Google
It gives Kibo only your email and name: no access to mail, calendar or files.
Public forms
The visitor sees only the form; their network address is not saved with the response (it is used, in unreadable form, only to limit abuse); an anti-abuse check protects the page. An anonymous form saves nothing about the person filling it in, not even for members.
Kibo writes only for service notices: invitations, address verification, billing, automations you have set up. No promotions.
Deleting
You can delete your account from My account → Security → Delete account; the owner can delete the organization with everything it contains. Deleted documents and tasks go through the trash, which you can empty.
