Getting started

This page takes you from your first sign-in to your first project in ten minutes.

1. Create your account and organization

Sign up on the website with your email (or with Google): you receive a link, and your account and your organization are created only when you open it. An organization is your team's space: projects, documents, people and plan live there. You can belong to several organizations with the same sign-in and switch between them from the selector at the bottom left.

On your first sign-in Kibo asks for your language, time zone, first day of the week and working hours: the calendar and the assistant need them to understand "tomorrow morning" correctly.

2. Invite your team

From Organization → People → Members you invite colleagues by email: each one receives a link, accepts and picks a password (or signs in with Google). Your plan sets how many seats you have; suspending a person frees their seat without losing anything. Roles are explained in Roles and administration.

3. Create your first project

In Work click New project, or start from a template in the gallery (onboarding, sprint, product launch…): see Templates and gallery. Every project has a short code (ABC) and every task inside it becomes ABC-12: codes you can quote in a meeting.

Inside the project you create phases, tasks, milestones and approvals. Drag, assign, set dates: the guide to work explains everything.

4. Ask the assistant

The chat is always on the right. Try: "create a project for the website launch in three weeks", "what is due this week?", "move all of Mark's tasks to Monday". The assistant proposes, you confirm. Details in Chat and assistant.

5. Upload a document

Drag a file into the chat or the side panel: Kibo reads it, and from then on you can ask questions about it. Choose where it should be findable (this chat, a project, everywhere): see Memory and documents.
