Overview
Welcome to Kibo
Kibo is a workspace for organizing projects, with a built-in AI assistant. You plan projects and tasks the way you already do, with lists, boards and timelines, and you can ask the assistant to do the work for you: draft a plan from a document, move deadlines, close what is done, find what you are looking for.
There is nothing to set up before you start. Kibo works for one person and grows with your team.
What you can do
- Plan projects with tasks, phases, milestones and approvals, and view them as a list, a board (Kanban), a timeline (Gantt) or a calendar.
- Ask the assistant: talk to it like a colleague and it creates, updates and links tasks for you. It asks for confirmation only before deleting something.
- Keep your documents in one place. Kibo reads the files you upload, so you can ask questions and get answers with their source.
- Collect requests with forms: leave, purchases, reports.
- Automate repetitive work with automatic actions (triggers) and automatic routines (jobs).
- Work with your team using roles and permissions per organization, project and document.
- Use Kibo from the tools you already use, if you write software: connect external programs through MCP.
Kibo's words
| Word | What it means |
|---|---|
| Organization | Your workspace. People, projects, documents and credits live here. |
| Project | A container of related work, with its own members and permissions. |
| Task | A piece of work. It can also be a phase, a milestone or an approval. |
| Views | Different ways to look at the same tasks: list, board, timeline, calendar. |
| Resources | Your documents, in folders. The assistant reads them. |
| Assistant | The AI that reads your workspace and acts on your behalf. |
| AI credits | What the assistant spends to work. Every plan includes an amount each month. |
Where to start
- Create your first project and add a few tasks, or attach a document and ask the assistant to prepare the plan.
- Pick the view you need: the board for day-to-day work, the timeline for dates and links between tasks.
- Upload the documents the project is based on, so the assistant can use them.
- Invite your team and assign roles when you are ready.
- Connect your editor, if you write software: see Connect Kibo via MCP.
Plans
Kibo has a free plan for one person and paid plans for teams. Plans differ in people, storage, AI credits and external connections. See Plans, seats, credits and storage.
