Chat and assistant
Kibo's assistant works on your data with your permissions: it sees only what you see, and does only what you could do.
What it can do
- Create and edit tasks and projects: "create three tasks for the launch, assign them to Luke, due Friday".
- Plan from a document or a description: it proposes a plan (phases, tasks, dates) that you open and confirm.
- Answer questions about what is in uploaded documents and past conversations.
- Find things: "where are the overdue tasks in project ABC?", "who is the head of IT?".
- Prepare drafts of automated actions and automated procedures, which you open in the editor and save yourself.
- Find a template and open its creation page for you, already filled in.
What it does not do
- It does not delete without confirmation: it shows a card with what goes away and how much it contains.
- It does not fill in forms or write custom fields: a person does that.
- It does not save automated actions or procedures: it prepares the draft, you save it.
- It does not read your mail: the only emails Kibo sends are those from the automations you have set up.
The project in context
When you open a project, that project's chat appears in the panel: one conversation per project, which you find again when you come back. The label above the input box shows which project is in context; "this task" and "the selected one" refer to what you have on screen.
Confirmations and plans
For a request with several steps, the assistant shows a short plan and waits for your yes. A "yes, always" applies only in the conversation where you say it.
Languages
Two independent settings: the interface language (among those available) and the language you want answers in (any). The first is in My account → Profile → Language and region, the second in My account → Assistant.
Credits
Every chat message uses credits in proportion to the text the assistant reads and writes, counted once even if it performed nine actions. See Plans, seats, credits and storage.
